Acquisition and storage of data and samples from the monitoring of strandings
Engineer within the framework of the French Strading network, my main activities are as follows:
1 – Management of sample collections and laboratory
– Inventory, reconditioning and archiving of collections
– Follow-up of sample shipments to other laboratories
– Computerisation of samples in a database
2 – Implementation of the scientific exploitation of strandings
– Monitoring of groundings and application of protocols and procedures
– Participation in data collection and field sampling (strandings)
– Participation in the implementation of training courses
3 – Logistical manager for activities related to strandings and laboratory analyses
– Organisation and maintenance of spaces and field equipment
– Follow-up of orders for field supplies and equipment
– Monitoring the use and maintenance of the service vehicle
