Coordination and training for campaigns at sea
My activities within Pelagis consist of :
– Implementation and operational coordination of the distribution and abundance of marine megafauna on dedicated campaigns (REMMOA, SAMM,..) and opportunities (MEGASCOPE).
– Implementation and coordination of observation campaigns at sea
Elaboration, fine-tuning and development of protocols and methodology
– Training of field staff and supervision of observer teams
– Organisation of the collection of observation data (logistics, acquisition)
– Participation in the processing, valorisation and dissemination of data.
Support for the development of observatory activities (strandings, internet communication and popularisation of science)
Engineer in charge of the implementation of the actions and in particular the monitoring of distribution and abundance at sea
